I have tuned and serviced pianos in homes, schools, and churches throughout a ten county area in mid-northwest Indiana for fifty years. I am an active member of the Indianapolis Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild and attend many local, regional, and national seminars for continuing education in piano technology.
I graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor and masters degree in music, taught music and band for 21 years and owned a music store, Gorden Pianos, from 1987 to 2005. Some of the performing artists that I have tuned for include Joshua Bell, Judy Collins, Marvin Hamlish, Dino Kartsonakis, the Lebeque Sisters, Louise Mandrell, Peter Nero, Mickey Rooney, Suzanne Sommers and Roger Williams.

A Registered Piano Technician (RPT) is a member of the Piano Technicians Guild who has demonstrated competence by passing a series of three rigorous examinations on the maintenance, repair and tuning of pianos.
